This website is operated by AJ Sushi LLC ("American Japa Sushi", "we", "us"), a company registered in the State of Florida, United States, with locations in Orlando and Kissimmee, FL. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Japa Rewards membership. When you join our rewards program we collect your name, mobile phone number, email address, whether you are a local resident or a tourist, and how you heard about us. We also keep a record of your rodizio visits (date and location), the rewards issued to you, and when they are redeemed or expire.

Phone verification. To protect your account, we verify your phone number by sending a one-time code by text message. Verification is handled by our messaging provider, Twilio.

Reservations and orders. Reservations and online orders are completed on third-party platforms (such as Shift4 and Google). Their own privacy policies apply to the information you give them.

Anonymous site analytics. We count visits, page views, button taps and general location (country/city level) to understand how the site is used. These analytics are anonymous: we do not store your IP address or tie this activity to your name.

By joining Japa Rewards and verifying your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from us related to the program, such as verification codes and reward notifications. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop marketing messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.

We use your information to run the rewards program (tracking visits, issuing and validating rewards), to verify your identity when you sign in, to contact you about your membership, and to improve our restaurants and this website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate: Twilio (text messages and phone verification) and Kitchendesk (the platform that hosts this website and the rewards program). These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.

You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your rewards membership, by emailing americanjapa.usa@gmail.com. Florida residents may have additional rights under applicable state law; we will honor any request required by law.

We keep your rewards information while your membership is active. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your personal details within a reasonable time, keeping only anonymized counts (for example, total visits) that cannot identify you. We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.

This website and the rewards program are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
